I had dinner with 4 of my colleagues here last night. The food we ordered were recommendations from the nice lady who's son is the owner of the restaurant. For starters we had Sword Fish nuggets and Shrimp with Coconut batter. The appetizers were served within 5 minutes!
We had 3 entrees and now I forget the Spanish names of the dishes - rib eye with melted cheese on top with a side of plantains (trifungo), fried pork chop with crispy skin, and chicken fillet wrapped in bacon. The serving time was very reasonable and the food was served hot. All of the entrees came with a choice of white rice or rice with beans. We ordered cheese and pistachio flan for dessert. Excellent choices to end our dinner.
The hostess and the waitstaff were very fluent in English. They kept checking with us if everything was alright. We were taken care of and made to feel important.
This is a nice and quaint restaurant with adequate decor. It made me feel like I was really eating in Puerto Rico. There were TVs in each corner playing a video with Andrea Bocelli and other singers. Excellent atmosphere. This is a great place to bring family and friends if you're staying in a hotel nearby.
