This restaurant was down the street from my hotel. After rice and beans for several of my meals, I went looking for another option. The weather was nice, so I decided to sit outside to people watch. The service was good; it was disconcerting at first to be greeted in Spanish at an Asian-dominant restaurant though.
I ordered sushi, which was delivered promptly and was well prepared. I was really hungry and also ordered calamari that was deep fried with no seasoning; not a great taste at all. Neither was the miso soup; very dish-watery. The prices were a bit steep for sushi given that the restaurant was near a major water supply. (I've had sushi many places in all but maybe 15 states in the U.S. and Japan and can about price what is reasonable based on location. My speculation is that perhaps because this was not the ordinary dining staple, they could get by with the higher prices for sushi.)
Overall, I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff were simultaneously officious, efficient, and gracious. The food was generally good. I would go there again next time I'm in PR.
