“A little expensive... but good pizza and jazz!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

Yes, its more expensive than your take-out pizza... but its good and check out their jazz nights! In the Condado tourist district, just down the street from the Marriott and Radisson hotels.

“For a good, low-fuss dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

This is a good Italian spot. The servers seem like they're imported directly from Italy, the food is quality (not gourmet, but good), and it's reasonably priced.

“Locals Hangout for Sangria”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Since they have a wide outdoor seating area, by Ashford Avenue in Condado, locals like the scene since it's a centralized location. Sangria is ok, pizzas are average, they have a wider menu including criollo fixes like tostones and fried chicken chicharrones. Service is relatively fast, a bit overpriced but it's due to it's touristic venue.

“Good food & drinks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

Order a few different appetizers, pizzas, and drinks. Appetizers and the portions were decent. Only thing was that the pizza could have been better coming from a place like this, though not terrible.Definitely recommend trying the sangria.

“Slow, mediocre Italian in San Juan”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012 via mobile

Very disappointing dining experience at Via Appia!
Service was incredibly slow, it took in excess of 60 minutes for a pizza, spaghetti and a ziti dish to arrive.
The sangria was just ok and the food quality was poor.
Our first and last visit!

We are dissapointed to hear that you had an unfortunate experience with us. We strive to give every diner a memorable experience and take pride in the quality of our food and our service. I'm hoping that this was an isolated experience but I do appreciate your feedback.
