Awesome!!! Thank you so much to Raul from Natural Wonders for making my short weekend trip so worth while ...I was a first timer in Puerto Rico so timing is everything and Raul did a most spectacular job in showing us the sites. We were high rollers putting 12hours of our short weekend stay at the island and he def made it worth it !!! I do not regret giving my trust and time to him def understands people are here to relax many times not on a long time vaca and his prices are very reasonable so worth it most tours begin at around $90 mark but you def get your moneys worth (just a round trip to luquillos beach is on a taxi is $90) so def its an investment in yourselves and guarantee to have a great fun time :) ...Loved the way he was ontime ! He will call hes on his way to make sure your ready on curbside for pickup His van is very clean, comfy, reliable, and airconditioned he carries a cooler with waters and drinks for his group(and encourages you to feel free to grab as needed and he makes sure everyone carries a water with on the hikes) We did the 12hour tour which included the rainforest, luquillos beach(one of nicest family beach per the locals on and travel guides) and the biolucient night kayaking at time of our tour it ran $150.00per person but worth every penny like I said for the day all you have to worry about spending is lunch money and souvenirs he takes good care of his group by demonstrating patience (other than not being on hotel or agreed area curbside at pickup which is understandable cause hes gotta make sure he picks everyone up with scheduled time so he can start tour) first of all its great that he will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel I traveled and as a woman exploring the unknown areas to stand and wonder if your in a safe location is kinda scary then taking a taxi to location to b picked up so its awesome hes a great tour if you are young, old, family, women traveling etc..after he picks us all up he does the formal intro with tourist head micro phone so everyone even furthest in back of 15packer can hear...starts out with a quick point out of landmarks around town and then its off to yunque rainforest which he is very funny and entertaining while at the same time very knowledable of his city surroundings and fun and entertaining lectures :) He is more than happy to accomadate people needs as in bathroom pitstops, picture taker,or fix what is mickeymousable, my sisters cameras battery died and he did his best to try to aid her with recharging it ...the yunque was quite fun and he made sure he gave us enough time to tour the site and get wet if we wanted no rush, luquillos beach is great and very beautiful this is where we stopped for lunch to buy food from the locals (soooo bummed i didnt take with me ziplocks to bring back ribs and p rican rice from the third or fourth location soooo good you must taste it just tell Raul its from the YA Tu SABES post you read :) we relaxed at beach for about an hour or soooo and Raul advised us that that though Puerto Rico is beautiful do not ever leave stuff unattended (great thing he said that cause Im from southern ca and we can leave for hours and stuff is usually safe especially in summertime when people want to hold/fork out a firepits that are super popular during summer) he was really great about sayn take only what you need and leave rest in van...this brings me to the point dont over pack just take the basics "good walking shoes with good grip, bathing suit, towel, fully charged camera,lunch/souvenir money" after that the people who did the half day part one way and continuing night biolucient kayakers go in another van (please make sure to exchange friend info with group members before you are or at the beach cause you may not see them after even an email to exchange photos taken) at the bio night tour you will be driven to fallardo beach park where you will b given a short how to kayak course after that you are off to the dark channel with only the glow stick of the other boats as a visual guide but you will have three guides with you to guide you from crashing into trees b warned for those not physically active your arms will get a work out :) but all in all people of all ages I saw on this tour and guides are very patient you will learn to trust your kayaking partner and if your a control freak and you get thrown at front of kayak for weighning less you will learn to keep calm and carry on or at least you hope (cause you couldnt see but could hear the control freaks in the boats heehhehe you thought it was a Dr Phil episode on marriage counseling great place for couples to learn to work as a team) after kayaking we were taken back to hotel safe and sound !!!! take the basics only "walking shoes with good grip/not slippery, bathing suit, towel, fully charged camera,lunch/souvenir money" rAUL THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY TOUR MEMORABLE! Ready for next ones bat caves tour and ziplining tour :)
