“Nice little hotel with Great Service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

Due to weather conditions our plane was very late landing in San Juan, I phoned my hotel earlier and they said to check into the hotel across the street when we arrived. We did and what a nice a pleasant man there was to check us in and walk us over to our hotel. He made sure we knew where everything was and made us feel very comfortable. (at 1:30 a.m.) During the rest of our stay the staff at the hotel were great and very helpful with everything we asked. The beach is approximately 82 steps away and what a beautiful beach it is. The night clubs are about 7 blocks away. Shopping and restaurants are a few blocks closer. Beautiful neighborhood in the Condado area and safe. Only advice I can give is when the taxi driver tells you how much the fare is, that is all you should pay!! The amount they tell you includes the tip.

Room Tip: If you choose this hotel, ask for a room on the 2nd level where the jacuzzi is. It's huge! and...

Really nice boutique rooms, with an absolutely amazing shared spa pool. Great location, easy walk in either direction to attractions. Good restaurants nearby. Nice atmosphere and great staff. Beach 100 metres and yet really quiet area.

What a gem! Acacia hotel has a great location - you are seconds from a beautiful beach, restaurants, and what feels like living with the locals. It's a safe and clean hotel. Nice decor. Great views from the many balconies. Can be a tiny bit noisy but throw on the air conditioner and you'll sleep like a baby. We will be back!

Room Tip: Worth it to make sure you get a balcony room!

Looking for a quiet oasis just steps from a quiet strand of beach in San Juan, PR? Here it is. No casino, no loud people, just quiet, well trained and unfailingly polite staff. Rest, recharge and enjoy! Oh, you want a beach?? How about out the door and 25 steps? Fabulous sea glass strewn beach that's well tended and perfect for that morning dip to start the day. A $19 cab to the airport and $17 cab to Old San Juan...or hop on the bus. We were there for 4 nights and wished it was more. We ate 2 nights at the restaurant - NICHE. It is exactly that - a niche. It seats less than 20. Intimate with fabulous food and drinks and soooo convenient to walk upstairs afterwards. Donna and Hector will take GREAT care. I did my research and boy did it pay off. Lobster tails and ceviche were fab. Enjoy amigo!

Room Tip: Go for the ocean view upgrade. Worth it! We were in #307. GREAT view.

The hotel is a little oasis a half a block from a beautiful public beach. The architecture, decor and service are top notch. The staff is wonderful and attentive. Niche Restaurant on the property is very special, highly recommend the mussels, ceviche and poached lobster. We were made to feel at home on our short trip. There are two buildings, one with ocean and the other with a courtyard pool. They are within one block of each other.

I found a deal online for this hotel so I decided to booked it because it was our last night in PR after a road trip, and we loved it! Very nice and modern decoration. Rooms are clean and roomy.
What it is even better is that they upgrade us to a king room with balcony and the jacuzzi was right next to our room. We had a great time and we would love to come back.
The only negative part is the location, as it is a little bit far from where all the restaurants are located.
