It's may be unfair to employees but this place is a disaster. The owners should be ashamed to even offer rooms here.
Stained hallway carpeting, filthy bathroom fixtures, paint stained furniture, entrance door with veneer peeled off, security lock missing, rusted light fixtures and rusting ceiling track are just some of the issues with this "hotel"
I left soon after checking in and re-located to the Marriott Stellaris.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else

If you are looking for the Hyatt or Holiday Inn run. If you are looking for a cheap hotel with a great location and aren't planning on spending a lot of time in the room or at the pool, this is your place. The hotel wasn't bad, it was just run down. Old carpet, torn curtains, water spots in the bathroom, kind of a moldy smell, but the bed/sheets/bathroom were clean. The pool area is nice but small and the sun is best in the morning...you get shade after 130pm ish. The website is misleading...they do not offer any activities on site, the bar is not part of the hotel. We were able to go to the hotel next door though and book some tours (ATV/Zip line etc).
All that being said the location is awesome! It is right in the middle of Condado which is full of places to shop, bars and resturants. There are also two beaches on either side of the hotel about a block away which were nice. It is walking distance to old San Juan if you don't mind walking a few miles through a shady part of town. The staff is nice and I would stay here again.

The hotel has an excellent location. Is in front of a parking lot, Chili's and walking distance to the center of Condado. Nice restaurants are near by. Also in the lobby there is a very nice restaurant called, Perurican. They make an excellent ceviche and a delicious sangria. Now to the bad; The hotel has a very small pool, no beach, no parking and a small lobby. The rooms are in desperate need of remodeling, they still have tube tv. No balcony, minibar and the decoration is lousy. In conclusion, not recommended for a stay, in the other hand I highly recommend the restaurant.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side face the lagoon and the afternoon sun.

I booked a single night stay traveling on business, based upon the location and photo's of the hotel. I arrived in late evening so didn't have much to look for other than my bed.

In the morning, wow - what a surprise. The hotel is old and needs a complete re-do and not just paint! The furniture is old, carpet stained, hallways have an odor and oh, hopefully you'll never need to call the front desk.

My god, it took over an hour for someone to answer the phone. I requested a replacement iron since the one in the room had burn stains all over and that took 50 min to get.

I don't know who owns this place or who's running it, but this is far from a hotel or a place that anyone should be visiting. The pool's ok and that's it! The ocean you can see, but not where you would want to go swimming in.

Overall a complete waste of my time and money. Someone needs to take notice of how it's done in other hotels, even the smaller ones and maybe, just maybe they'll learn something.

Room Tip: Spend a little more and stay elsewhere, you'll be happy you did!!!

False advertising regarding the property remodeling. Bugs, water faucets don't work, dirty, smelly, hair dryers that were mounted to the wall in the 70s now on the floor (still with the mounted piece attached it), cafre/guetto. Staff were moderately nice but charged me twice. I sent a letter to the hotel after my stay in November 2012 and I have yet to receive a response (Feb. 2013). Cheap price comes with a horrible experience.

Room Tip: Avoid this property.
