“An average hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW

Stayed four nights on business and leisure. Stayed in the tower; decent room but aging. Breakfast selection and quality we're just average... And on the weekend was absolutely chaotic with quite slow service.

Biggest gripe: my room was prepaid by my company, yet Caribe hilton charged my credit card anyway for the four day stay. Have been arguing with them about the double charge, and they now admit their fault... But will take at least a week to refund.

great views of the beautiful blue water of San Juan. The hotel is quite nice, lots of pool area and convenient restaurants and quick food areas,. Having a Starbucks onsite is a plus. Beds are hard, not comfortable at all, but I have found that all Hiltons have uncomfortable beds, not like the comfy Hampton Inn beds. For the money, not as impressive as other hotels in the area. Nice walking to Old San Juan, the Capitol and cruise ship areas.

Room Tip: High floor facing ocean for best views 9 or 10 floor the best

This once proud hotel has fallen to average or below due to age and number of shortcomings that include security (credit card number was apparently stolen), failure to respond to report of an apparent CC security breach, poor housekeeping (failure to clean room and when it was cleaned failed to leave face towels that took housekeeping a long time to replace while waiting ti shower), poor-to-average meal service and borderline seedy room in spite of being in a towers room (e.g., cracked tile, leaky shower that partially flooded bath floor, obvious poor up keep.

Room Tip: Stay away at all costs as there are newer, nicer hotels in the area. It's OK is you can secure...

Easy taxi to cruise ship and airport. Pool and beach area was beautiful. There are various parts of this hotel. We stayed in the tower (I think that's what they called it). Comfortable bed. Room needed a little tlc. Missing and broken tiles in the shower and bathroom. Very beat up furniture.

The gentleman who completed our check in was curt and not personable immediately giving us a bad first impression. The private beach and pool area were a treat as were the many on site restaurants. Unfortunately, the bed was hard as a rock and the housekeeping staff seemed to struggle with the cleaning aspect of their job duties. All in all, a nice place to stay, not exactly the quality I had previously associated with the Hilton brand.

Lets start at check in. Smooth process for the most part, nothing particularly special about the customer service. They charge like $28 resort fee per night, im still trying to figure out why. Ok maybe because of the free slow Wifi that obviously was not worth the price. Terrible location because everything requires getting in a car unles you want to walk for 40 minutes. The beach and pool are the only nice things on the property. Even the Quiznos inside the resort had terrible customer service and horrible attitude. I spent most of my spending money on cabs getting around because its so secluded. NOW FOR THE WORST WHICH I WILL EVEN POST A PICTURE, THE CUPS IN THE ROOM UPON ARRIVAL WERE DIRTY AS IF SOMEONE HAD DRANK FROM THEM AND PUT IT RIGHT BACK WITH THE LIP MARKINGS ON THE CUP OR MAYBE NEVER CHANGED FROM THE PREVIOUS PEOPLE WHI STAYED THERE. Basically, I would never stay here or recommend it to anyone. So sad since I travel to PR 5 times in a year.

This hotel is nice. Located on the beach and has many restaurants at the location such as Quizno's, Starbucks, Morton's, and many more. There are also many stores to do some shopping and a huge mall about 4 miles away. The hotel is expensive, room service is expensive. We were surprised when we arrived and were told about a Mandatory $150 per day fee for incidentals and possible damage to the room. Since we were with a specific group I was able to get out of it but, others in my group were forced to pay that fee. It's a hold you get back at the end of your stay but, it's pretty hefty. I travel for a living around the world and this is the first time I have come across such a fee. The staff is very nice and friendly, they try to be as accommodating as possible but hotel is very big so in some ways it misses the mark on the "personal touch" but, again overall the staff tries their best to make you happy. My room has a view of the beach, and a small balcony, it's comfortable and nice. Overall it's a nice place, there is a lot to do and the Puerto Rican's are very friendly.

Room Tip: Our group had wifi included but, it appears for normal guests they have to pay. I heard some constru...
