Good hotel on the beach. Room was spacious and very clean. Excellent Marriott bed. Great staff in the hotel including the concierge lounge. Good times can be had in the casino! Drink prices in all bar areas are definitely pricey!

I stayed there after my wedding and it was awesome. Check-in was very fast. They sent me later a complimentary bottle and a gift. Room service was great and fast. The hotel has a great location in which you can walk and visit stores, restaurants and other activities without having to get into a car.

We are here now, on our last night stay. We have been here three days. We are headed from here to St. Croix. We booked on hotels.com and saved about $60 on a partial ocean view room. We came here from Seattle, WA on the red eye, we got to the hotel about 1:30 and had the choice with a lower room ready right away or to wait for a higher room. We really appreciated this choice! We did end up going in the lower room and it has been lovely. We have enjoyed our room and balcony. The bed is very comfortable and the room is spacious for two.

Our complaints lie outside of the room itself. The restaurants, room service and bars and ridiculously overpriced. We would have enjoyed the ease of eating while at the pool but could bring ourselves to pay $18 for a sandwich. There is a great little burger joint across the street, Buns, and we found ourselves there for a quick lunch daily. One other small complaint is the beach is CROWDED with chair everywhere; it is difficult enjoying your time down there with 150 other people. The pool is more spacious with lots of seating; we found ourselves there most of the time.

This hotel is in a great area, we loved walking to dinner and for drinks. We ate at Via Appia, Ropa Vieja, and Tijuana; we enjoyed all of the restaurants.

Where do you go after a cruise (8 am) and your
flight home is late afternoon? 1st choice, to the Marriott.
Our day pass did the trick - full use of the
fitness centre, towels, pool and slide, sauna, beach
facilities, and la Isla Restaurant and Bar with its
Beer, sandwiches, food wraps. (We'll do this
again). 2nd choice - to be downtown touring
and shopping. We decided, our wallets needed a wee rest before
journeying back to Canada. No offence San Juan, you are
a beautiful city. We've become acquainted several times over the years.
