“nice views! massive structures!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

great panoramic views of the ocean and a real sense of history! we didn't wait around for the narrated tour by the park rangers...maybe we should have. big hint: start your tour hear, park underground right near the entrance for very cheap, come early, walk downhill to San Cristobal...not very far at all. then you can walk back to El Morro, detouring thru Old San Juan on the way there or back. not far at all for healthy people used to even moderate exercise, even in the July heat. Did I mention to GO EARLY?!?

“Cannot miss seeing this when you are in San Juan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013 via mobile

Our third time here. Everytime there has been something new. Always great picture options and amazing backgrounds. The history of the site is excellent. More explanations and open areas than before. They are restoring more things and next time we come, I can't wait to see what will be new.

“Very interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

I am glad we got to tour while walking around Old San Juan, very interesting history in such an old structure. Take the time to walk around and see the views from high above.
