“A Historical Treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Visiting El Morrow was a highlight of our trip. El Morrow is huge and my twelve year old twin boys really enjoyed exploring El Morrow and learning the history of this beautiful place. It really makes for a nice day to visit El Morrow in the morning, and then stroll down into old San Juan for lunch. For my sun burned family of four, this was a nice break from the beach!

“Just like Spain”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

This is probably the top attraction of Old San Juan and should not be missed. I would wait until late afternoon to go because the light is more golden and photogenic. El Morro is similar to fortresses one would see in Spain and the history is fantastic. We did however feel that the San Cristobal fortress had even more to offer

“Must see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Beautiful fort. Views are breathtaking and the history is fascinating. It is very clean and well maintained, great value for $3. We were able to see most of it in two hours. Wish we'd had time to visit the other forts in the vicinity.

“Historical site”

Liked the green pasture and just seeing people enjoying the day. The trolley stops right in front which makes visiting the place very convenient.
