“Great and almost Awesome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

This is an amazing piece of history. The construction, old tunnels, and views are very impressive. This site, while well maintained, needs to be more tourist friendly. They need more signs, descriptions in English, and just more guidance.

“Worth visiting”

The best thing about this castle is that in its outside there are awesome places to take pictures from old San Juan and the capitolio.

“I love this fort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

We visited both forts in OSJ.... I actually liked this one better than El Morro...not sure why, but that tunnel that goes to the dungeon is very cool..... nice views, plenty to see..felt like we were in soe sort of 'pirates' movie :-) We paid $5pp,and that was for a 7 day pass to both forts- great deal!

“Fort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

The fort was such a magical place to visit. To see where they stood guard, we walked through the tunnels and the dungeon. My fiance was even able to hold some of the weapons they had on display.

“Old and Interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2014

Amazing considering when this was built. While walking through, it almost seems endless. The views of the beach, ocean and the city are amazing from the top. A MUST SEE if in Old San Juan.
