“Sensational to you taste buds, a hidden gem, & beyond an experience you've been dreaming of.”
Besides the perfect breeze once you walk into Sophia's, (not too hot, not too cold), you are greeted by the humble, warm hearted staff, and the clean atmosphere of a classic Italian restaurant with a unique Mona Lisa door for the bathroom and a Sophia Lauren painting. The service was on point, no waiting, no attitudes (even when busy) and you can see the cleanliness of the outstanding restaurant. The bread was soft, warm, and a unique, fresh taste. You weren't cold or hot inside, but room temperature to make you feel at home and comfortable. Your food comes out in perfect timing after the bread is served and order is taken. The menu isn't confusing and if you have questions or need a dropped utensil, your wish was their command! The food was not bland, but perfectly well done with an extra kick of the restaurant's own touch of flavor. The restaurant inside felt like a modern, classic Italian lounge; a skinny walkway was what you saw as you entered with a beautiful, clean bar on the right. The outside patio was hidden, and when you got a glimpse inside, you saw what almost reminded you of a fairy tale old set patio themed from Disney's 'Beauty and the Beast' movie wiith a gargoyal water fountain, gorgeous pink flowers, and a light pink stone wall. Once we cleared our plates, and we cleared it, my grandmother look at me and said 'I am very hard to please with pasta, but this is the best pasta dish I have ever had'.... Need I remind you, my beautiful picky Italian grandmother always has been a critique and for good reason. To conclude, you know if hungry customers from Italy are eating at an Italian restaraunt and are writing a good review about it, there's only one word to say: EAT THERE.
5 stars for Sophia's! Ciao!
