It was the slow season so we called Goblin Hill directly the morning of Oct 24 and booked the villa for the same night. Party of 5 stayed one night in Villa 13. The 5th person incurred an additional JA$1000 per night fee. The receptionist was very friendly as was the bellman. We picked up the key and TV remotes. I agree that they should provide more details at time of booking. We didn't know that the housekeeper needed 'shopping time' prior to our arrival to prepare meals. We ate dinner at Dickie's Best Kept Secret on Tuesday night (awesome). Wednesday morning we sent the guys to the supermarket in Port Antonio and cooked. The villa has a great view and a third bed was provided. The villas need some TLC, there was mildew on our awning, the bathrooms need updating, the showers heads and tub should be replaced. The Goblin Hill grounds are beautiful and the views of San San and the Caribbean sea are gorgeous.

Great place for a family. We recently spent a week there with our 2 children (16 & 12) and both had a fabulous time. The villas were spacious and the property offered tennis, a pool and a library area to read or surf the net. The location is convenient to the beach at Frenchman's Cove, but don't waste your time trying out San San Beach. The only thing we would suggest is to do your own grocery shopping at Ramtullah's or whatever market you find. The charges for Goblin Hill to shop on your behalf are marked up considerably! I know this because we have visited Jamaica several times and we did our own shopping after the first day.

Just back from a week at Goblin Hill Villas and had a wonderful time. We have two children so the well furnished two-bed villa was ideal. Maid (ask for Varona) prepared three delicious meals a day. Authentic Jamaican food the ingredients for which we bought with her at Port Antonio market. Goblin Hill had good tennis courts, swimming pool and beautiful grounds filled with tropical bird species. Excellent location for Port Antonio sites - town itself, Somerset and Reich Falls, Blue Lagoon (although note that restaurant is closed), Boston Bay and Long Beach. Only drawback was the 15 minute walk to beach at Frenchman's Cove (one of the 10 best beaches in the world). We took a route taxi on the road to the Cove which took about 5 mins and cost Jamaican $100-150 for the 4 of us. Driving in Jamaica is NOT recommended; try to get Winston Morris of Juta Tours to do your pick up from Kingston or Montego Bay Airports. He is a friendly, safe driver.

We stayed at Goblin Hill Villas for a few nights, weather was not good so this restricted our movements slightly.
Good to use as a base, had pool to ourselves and some fantastic cuisine, expertly prepared by our maid.
Ate at Marina open air area, very good.
Staff at Goblin Hill very helpfull.
Very relaxing few days, good place to chill
