Didn't have any expectations of this hotel since it was so cheap. I read it was newly renovated. When? 20 years ago? The hotel need some work for sure. But hey this is Jamaica. Anyways, the check-in took us only 10 mins. When we got ot our rooms the AC didn't work and shortly after that the power went out in the entire building.. So they gave us new rooms.
The service? Just like everywhere else in Jamaica, horrible. Had to beg for clean towels and toilet paper (worn out towels and sandpaper) A club sandwitch at the hotels restaurant took us 45 mins to get. And they almost never had any food in stock. So we went out to eat at nearby Burger King & Juicy J's pretty much every day. And all male stuff tryed to hustle us everytime they saw us. And since it's jamaica the drugs are everywhere. You can't walk a step without being asked to buy some ganja, haschish, cokaine or muschrooms.
A walk to the beach took us about 10-15 mins. And another 5-10 mins to reach the more exploited area of the beach.
So who does this hotel fit? backpackers and young single party animals i'd say. Would i go back to the hotel? Absolutely!
