Just when I thought I knew a thing or two about the cliffs of Negril,
I happened to stumble upon a real gem. A place that defines joy
and beauty through nature's gifts.
There is a clear interest in the environment, from the authentic
materials to the natural landscapes. But most importantly to me,
is that the spirit of Jamaica is reflected throughout. From the
multi-cultural cottages, the delicious local food and one of my
favorite passions, the music. An incredible weekly show captures
the heart and soul of the music. Beginning with African drummers
to present day reggae artists.
It's hard to describe this place in the sun without smiling, it is even
more difficult to wait until I can return. Truly a memorable hideaway.

We recently returned from a weeks stay at the Negril Escape, where we were married. It couldn't have turned out better. We had a group of about 30 people at the resort. From the time we arrived the staff did everything they could to accomodate us. The day of our wedding there was a storm with very large waves crashing over the sea walls and the lighthouse. We were very nervous that the waves would ruin the wedding. The staff wasn't worried and reassured us that everything would turn out great. They couldn't have been more right. The sun came out just before the ceremony and turned into the perfect evening. The food, the staff, the DJ, and the flowers were all outstanding!! Many people commented to us that the food was the best they had in Negril. Everyone had a great time at the wedding.

The hotel and property are well maintained and unique. All of the rooms are different with a lot of charm. Our room was clean, comfortable and had an awesome view of the ocean. The shuttle to the beach is very convenient and the beach is nice. Jumping off the lighthouse is a must do.

The staff was great all week long and did everything we asked for and more. We took a few tours through the hotel and the staff were very accomodating. Nekeisha, Donald and Carey were fantastic with all of the wedding plans. Allen, the driver, was truly great to our group and treated us fantastically. Natasha and Teo set up some great trips for us and Teo is a great tour guide and entertainer. The rest of the staff, bartenders, wait staff, maids, and maintenance people were all friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a great experience at the Negril Escape, the wedding turned out better than we ever imagined (we had never been to the resort before the wedding). We definitely recommend the Negril Escape and can't wait to return! =)

Very charming hotel with beautiful views. The rooms are small and pricey for what you get but the staff is good.
The day staff can are a bit standoffish no matter how much we tried to befriend them.

The front desk woman was really brutal to her subordinate but everyone else was cool. When the sun came down the night staff was awesome. Especially Charlotte and Alerick. I would recommend staying here if you could get it at $90 a night. I usually stay in more expensive rooms but these rooms are not worth more than $110.

AC and stove broke but like cool Jamaicans that they are ...they searched and searched for a person that could fix it until they found....the Taxi driver. He knew where the circuit breaker was.

We missed our flight and stayed at a different hotel a block farther for $45 with the same amenities and bigger rooms but no sea access and views.

Rooms... ok
Food....bad except for fried chicken dish
service...daytime (ok) - night (awesome)
ambience... awesome

Good for families with kids that are not clumsy. Since there are rocky walls that lead to the sea immediately. So if you pamper your kids so much that they don't know how to avoid dangers even when told how... then don't stay here. Aside from that this would be great for families.

It was me and my girl's first trip to jamaica and we had a beautiful stay at negril escape. It lived up to all our expectations and beyond with breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset from our room, to an excellent staff and great owners. Thanks to everyone including theresa, damian, junior for the great food, sophie, allen, perry (bus driver for the airport), and anyone else i'm forgetting. We truly had the chance to escape, relax, and enjoy some great company. Once again carey, thank you for a blessed time and we cannot wait to visit your wonderful resort again.

I went to Negril Escape in September to finalize plans for a huge Chinese New Year Celebration for a non profit group. This will be the third year of doing business with Negril Escape. We are so happy with the service and location that we have booked the entire hotel for a week of events.
Negril Escape has continued to upgrade and have reached a level that I am pleased to recommend to our celebrants who will be attending from all over the US.
The cottages all with a different theme make it that much more fun with our attendees choosing a cottage tha fulfills their idea of a dream vacation. THe views could not be better and the service makes you feel as if you are at one of the higher priced all-inculsives but the thing is Negril Escape is operated by Jamaicans. The money we spend in Jamaica stays in Jamaica. Negril Escape has a reputation of treating their employees well and are dedicated to improving the community of Negril.
Being a non-profit we chose Negril Escape because they will truly provide our guests with an over the top vacation experience while benefiting the community at large. The owner/manager has been helped us obtain a venue for our Childrens Festival we are holding in Negril to benefit the children of Negril AND Negril Escape is hosting a solar energy workshop for the community while we are there!
What more could you ask for a top notch resort that is dedicated to bettering their own community.
Stay there! You will giving yourself and the community of Negril a gift!
