What a Fabulous experience!! Travellers is a low cost, budget keeping place to stay. There is AC (& ceiling fans, if you prefer) to keep cool, TV with US stations, free wi-fi, housekeeping, a great on site restaurant that is not expensive and feeds you healthily and tastily, the staff are the best I have ever experienced and I have travelled all over Europe and the US. The hotel is a campus of private bungalows of various bed sizes, owned by Mr. Wellington and his sons. There is a small private beach well serviced by various pre-screened Vendors who provide great souvenirs and tasty local food or keep their distance and whether you are a female travelling alone as I was, or a group, or a family you can be assured of a great experience. I will definately be returning:)

Room Tip: Choose the ground floor if you have difficulty with stairs, although there is only one flight of the...

So we had a family reunion at Travellers Beach Resort for about a week and had a blast. The staff caters to your every need and goes above and beyond. The food was good, although I did expect to have more Jamaican food options on the menu. As far as the rooms go I was comfortable. The pool is amazing they have a bar literally by the pool side and a nice cave, with a waterfall you can go and relax in. They also have a kiddie pool and a jacuzzi! What's not to love. If you want to experience Jamaica and all there is to offer Traveller's the place you want to be. Oh I failed to mention they make great drinks and for entertainment they have karaoke. If your are and opened minded individual you will have fun. I went jet skiing and visited the coral reef as well as a piece of island (forgot the name). I failed to mention parties, plenty of parties. they have a club walking distance from there. Boy do Jamaicans know how to party. If you don't enjoy yourself at Travellers Beach Resort, something is truly wrong with yourself. Ill be back next year.

Traveller's Beach Resort is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful with everything from places to go in the area to how much things should cost when venturing out (e.g cab fare). Also, everything was well organized. I really enjoyed the breakfast, it is made to order so, it takes a bit longer than one is used to in the states, but well worth the wait. The menu varies depending on the time of the year, but it is all delicious. The rooms were well maintained and comfortable, and the beach was very calm and appropriate for teaching non-swimmers how to swim. Definitely would stay here again!!!

I visited Travellers early in the summer after what felt like an unusually long and stressful school year. I spent a total of 6 nights there and by the end, I wished there was no reason for me to come back to the states. Firstly, the resort is located right on the most beautiful beach I'd ever seen. The weather was always amazing, and when you would sit down for breakfast or lunch at the resort's bar/restaurant, it’s as if the crystal clear water and beautiful sand of the beach was calling to you to come and enjoy. And, speaking of the bar/restaurant, the food and service was always amazing (Try the escovich fish for breakfast!) and reasonably priced. Secondly, the service at Travellers was beyond great, from the helpful and happy staff at the restaurant to the always ready to help front desk staff to the housekeeping staff that always kept the room in amazing shape (4 girls staying in a room, never knowing what to wear...yea, it got ugly). Next, surrounding area was great to explore. The resort was always willing to arrange transportation to wherever we needed to go, whether it was into town to pick up some things from the market, going to Rick's Cafe to jump off cliffs, or going to the nightclubs and back at all sorts of hours. Fourthly, I loved the fact that the resort owners/managers were easily accessible to patrons. Though I never had any complaints to report, It put me at ease that they were so interested in making sure the all of their customers were having a great stay (we would see them going up to patrons and asking if they were having a good time...something you wouldn't see @ larger, more advertised resorts, because the owners are in the U.S. somewhere). Other amenities offered by the resort were on site gym, hair salon, as well as wireless internet/internet cafe, none of which i used but I heard great things. Before I forget, I should also comment on how comfortable the rooms were. In 90 + degree heat, it’s amazing to sleep in an air conditioned room. Lastly, with all of the abovementioned experiences, I would have expected to pay a pretty penny for my stay…on the contrary, our 7 day 6 night stay was very reasonably priced. I'm almost positive that it’s the best deal you can get for a stay in Negril (or even MoBay for that matter). I would recommend Travellers to anybody who wants spend their vacation relaxing on an amazing beach sipping a cool drink (and maybe eating a pattie) on the beach soaking in the Jamaican sun. I had the best experience and am sure that you will as well if you decide to go with friends, with family, or even alone. I can't wait until my next visit!
Happy travels!

Travellers Beach Resort need a make over really bad. The rooms are so out dated.
They had to change our room. The staff is excellent. Do not use Git Ahway Travel from Fresno, CA. Bad Experience... Once again the Staff was excellent.

Room Tip: The rooms can use some bleach and lysol

First and foremost, thank you for your review. We sincerely apologize that your original room was not up to par and that you had to be moved. No guest should have to experience a room change at the fault of the hotel. Admittedly there are still some rooms that have not been upgraded as yet, but I assure you it's a work in progress. On the positive side i'm glad that our staff treated you well overall and that you were pleased with our customer service. Hopefully you'll return one day under better circumstances and enjoy a truly relaxing experience that we intend for all of our guests. We will do our very best to ensure this kind of slip up does not happen again.
