We first noticed the beautifully manicured property of Nirvana, followed by how close the beach was to our doorstep. The staff was kind and respectful and was almost invisible except for when we found fresh flowers in the room or they would book an activity for us. It felt like our own private beach house because of how intimate things were. There was not one single thing to complain about except when it came time to leave, because we were leaving. We have already recommended Nirvana to our friends and will be returning next year. It is the best way to truely enjoy Jamaica.

The accomondations and staff were GREAT. I have stayed at a number of resorts in Negril during the past 12 years and I think I've found my new beach home. Can't wait to head back down in the fall.

Our family travels a lot. My wife spent two weeks searching for that perfect quiet family friendly place in the Carribean. Costa Rica and Hawaii were nice, but the water is often rough and not clear.

Two of our friends had just came back from Jamaica and said that the ocean water was so warm and clear and you could see 100 ft. down. Now we just needed to find the perfect place to stay and we found it. The place is called Nirvana, and what a nirvana it is!

After looking at pictures of many standard rooms of many ordinary commercial hotels, we finally found a unique cottage which had 2 and 3 bedrooms and best of all a full kitchen. After calling the owners and speaking to them, I knew that this was the place.

Nirvana set up transportation to and from the air port with recommended drivers, so it felt very personable. We were greeted by a helpful manager when we arrived. The place looked even better than the pictures on the website. That's what we like, no surprises!

The cottage was better then we expected, when you come out of your room, you are in a common area, a screened in "living room". This was great for the kids. They could crawl around on the floor, or the older ones could lounge on the couches and read. The cottage had a large full kitchen stocked with pots, pans, coffee makers, blenders silverware, cups and plates. This felt like home, very cozy and just what we were looking for.

Not only do they offer professional babysitters, "WOW", but with one phone call, pickup trucks full of fruit, vegatables and fish come to nirvana. The best thing is that we didn't have to cook, just shop. The girls cook dinner for you every night and I mean this is the real Jamaican food, not the tourist stuff.

The staff was so nice and soon my family adopted them. We watched sunsets on the beach, went to concerts at night and we ate dinner together as a family - a missed pastime.

So if you are looking to bond with your family, have an easy vacation and spend time in a beautiful place with great rejuvenating energy, then Nirvana is the place.

Loving to travel, my husband and I continuously say we will not return to the location of any vacation because "there are too many places to see:. That said, Nirvana has become our exception to the rule. We have never had a more relaxing vacation or a more beautiful beach location in any of our trips.
We stayed in the "Owner's Villa" and found the accommodations to be beyond our expectations. The view from the verandah all times of day was totally worth the extra cost. The beauty and serenity of the grounds were awe inspiring with amazing flowers and an absolutely gorgeous beach. Our days consisted of having an early swim and walk on the beach, returning to have breakfast including fresh squeezed orange juice made by the ladies and hanging out on the beautiful beach until "Happy Hour". Nirvana's beach is located in the center of everything yet is never too crowded. The security gentlemen took care of everything and kept us vendor free unless we requested assistance in purchasing food or activities. Sigi, the property manager, assisted us in securing rides to restaurants beyond walking distance , setting up phenomenal massages with the amazing Olivine and bringing in the fish man so that we could purchase lovely fish for the ladies to cook for us. We only had them make two meals but they were the best! We had a wonderful experience and would not hesitate to return. The owner's were extremely helpful in answering our many questions prior to arrival and were considerate in following up to see that everything had been taken care of. All in all a great trip and a superb location.
