“AWESOME NATURAL EXPERIENCE!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

This was such a great experience. Its a hut located on the beach where they catch fresh lobster, crab & conch and cook it for you on an open grill slightly seasoned and drizzled with fresh butter served with the best Jamaica n peas n rice I've ever had. Also with grilled wheat bread with butter and a small salad. The lobster was AMAZING! !! Totally sweet and fresh. Best lobster I've ever eaten. We ordered 2 lobsters with the trimmings and an extra plate of rice n peas to go for $45.
The lobsters were a decent size.
They prepared it for us while we swam in the ocean. Which was absolutely beautiful. No crowds, no vendors harrassed us. Only 2 asked and a polite no they were on their way. This spot is located on 7 mile beach part known as bloody bay next to Sunset @ Palms resort. Hats off to Lexus who was the cook when we went. You are "the cook" !!! Rice n peas :) please give this place a try and the beach! Also thanks again Lexus for watching our belongings and getting us a lounge chair!

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2014 via mobile

This little bar was one of the highlights of our trip. We stayed at the Grand Lido and came here every night to party. The locals were hilarious and we soon became friends.
Hello to Tamika, Peppa, Lexus, Sunshine and friends who's name we can't recall.

“Just o.k. Would give it a solid 3.5”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2014

We stayed at Couples Negril in Bloody Bay and OON is about a 5 minute walk from here. It's literally a little hut type bar where they serve lobster that they keep in a cage in the ocean. We were told they have a $20 or $30 dollar lobster and since we were sharing chose the $30 one and it was just o.k. to be honest. Not a whole lot of meat and trying to eat lobster with a cheap plastic fork was kind of difficult. The vibe of the place was typical Jamaica with literally everyone that was there stoned OUT OF THEIR MIND. Lol. Had a beer each and the lobster and the tab came to $40 plus of course tip for the bartender and tip for the chef. To be honest I preferred the lobster at Couples so would skip this place next time.

“Office of Nature ignores closed lobster season”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2013

I read OoN reviews in this thread that caused concern. Several indicated that they eat lobster at the OoN during the period that Jamaica closes the lobster season which is April 1 to June 30. Hard to tell which OoN was being discussed (there are two using that name), but if the reviews are carrying the correct dates, then the OoN was breaking the law serving the lobster.

Sad to see these reviews as the closed season is for breeding.
