Beaches
The water is clear, just cool enough to be comforting and the beach is clean. You will run into locals trying to sell you things but you can just say no thanks and walk on.
The sunsets are spectacular, the water is so blue and warm and the sand is soft and white. One of the best beaches I've been to. I love how the salt water actually conditions my hair, my natural curls looked so healthy!
Walked the 7 mile beach.....beautiful..Loved the variety of resorts and all the places to grab and bite to eat or drink...shops right on the ocean...just unique...
We are heading back for our 3rd trip to Negril to stay at a different section on the 7 mile beach. We have done Couples Swept Away, Couples Negril and this year will be Sandals Negril.
The people of Jamaica are so amazing and you will always feel safe in Negril. We enjoyed long walks on the beach each day and also enjoyed laying in our chairs watching people walk by.
The music that is played by the locals is always enjoyable. This is the most relaxing place to be and I can't wait to return this year.

The best experience of a visit to Negril is walking Seven Mile Beach. You don't need to walk the whole 7 miles but you need to get out and walk as much as you can. If you start at the river there are too many bars to stop and rest and have a Red Stripe, but you can go a far as you want. If you are staying at an all inclusive, try and walk the entire beach during your stay. It is our favorite thing to do in Jamaica.
