This property is definitely a place that in my opinion shows you who you really are. Everybody here is respectful and friendly. I think that the hotel could use some renovations to make this resort the ultimate retreat. The concept of the resort I believe is what keeps people coming back.

I've never been much on nude or hippie or swinger kinds of things but my best friend is someone who LOVES to be naked so when we found out we could get a day pass to a place with unlimited food, and drinks for $50, she was ALL over this deal. If you're into this kind of stuff, this is definitely the place to be. Its a beautiful property, the staff was really nice and the food was pretty good. This is the kinda place where anything goes and nobody cares. The people visiting were really nice too. But the beach entry isn't the best, at least on the "prude" side, we didn't use the "nude" side. It's very rocky and rough start, once you get out deeper it isn't as bad. You will be harassed by the people on boats and jet skis, trying to get you to pay o take a ride with them, and of course there were some comments that didn't need to be made, but they weren't rude. I enjoyed my visit, and there aren't any words for how much my best friend enjoyed her visit. She said it was THE best thing we did the whole week we were in Jamaica.

We recently returned from Hedo II and were surprised by how many of the guests we encountered had complaints about their rooms (water leaks, A/C units not working properly, etc.) and worse, the dysfunction they endured dealing with the front desk and in some cases the hotel's management when attempting to get their room issues resolved. Fortunately, we had only a few minor problems with our room which we just lived with, but a good number of our fellow guests staying in rooms near us complained that the hotel had knowingly checked them into rooms with significant problems.

One couple (friends of ours) called the front desk to ask that some new batteries be delivered to their room for the television remote. A short time later they received a call back from the front desk wanting them to move to a different room in which the television remote worked. What hotel asks guests to pack up their belongings and move to another room because the batteries in the television remote work in another room? For heaven's sake, there is no reason why a staff member couldn't have delivered a couple batteries to our friend's room without absurdly asking them to move to another room to have a working remote. On a humorous note, it was fun to watch the expressions of the faces of the guests as that story moved from guest to guest around the pool area.

Among the other complaints we heard was that when the front desk was contacted by several guests to complain about room problems, the staff didn't follow through on resolving their problems without the guests first having to make repeated calls back to the front desk and/or the guests having to make multiple trips to the front desk to find out the status on the resolution of their problems.

On the plus side, the hotel has a great location on the Seven Mile Beach, the food and beverages during our stay were good, some of the long-time staff (and some newer staff) were great. Bottom line, if you are lucky enough to get a room without problems at check-in and you don't have to rely too much on management/staff to resolve problems for you, the potential exists to have a nice vacation.

If I have to use my hard earned cash to go on a vacation.
I want the resort to be CLEAN, and RENOVATED. CLEAN. !!!

I must say the great people and the good food can only
go so far. I dont like to soak or swim in scum bubbles..GROSS.

This place is already loosing its edge, the people who enjoy it will not
keep coming back if something isn't done soon..
Thats as honest as anyone can get ...
