“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

My friend and I take a "girl's trip" to Jamaica every year. This year we took our college aged daughters with us too.(only for 1 week...we stayed for 2). The rooms on the beach are great for this. There is a king bed and bath in the main sleeping area and 2 Murphy beds in the main living area with another bath. We took the nice king bed and put our daughters on the Murphy beds. It worked out great. There is a nice porch out front too. Loved it!

Room Tip: if possible take the beachfront rooms

This hotel reminds me of home, I enjoy the symphony from the crickets at night and waking up to chirping sound of the birds. Most importantly the hospitality, maid services every day, clean airy rooms and simple decor.they even provide safe deposit boxes in the rooms love the fruit trees that surround the entire resort and convince of the beach. Did I mention complimentary breakfast every morning.

Stayed at Negril Tree House Resort the first week of June. Used our groupon voucher for a five night accommodation. Met Gail Jackson the owner of the tree house, not a bad thing to say about her or her staff. Great location for families, friends, or just a quick stop. Will be going back summer of 2014.

I am so grateful that of ALL the hotels I could have landed on, we picked the Tree House. This is owned and run by Gail Jackson whose kindness, hospitality and generosity of spirit are reflected in every aspect of this quaint and cared for beachside resort. We spent two nights in a suite that had ample room for three women – a large bedroom with a king size bed and en suite bathroom with two Murphy beds in a spacious and open living and kitchenette area. The large swinging doors opened to a charming balcony with hammock chairs and a panoramic view of the beach and ocean. The Tree House is situated smack in the middle of the Seven Mile Beach. The food was beyond expectations and we were but yards to the ocean. We took in the daily yoga at 11:00 am with instructor Jessica Jonhson who is a beautiful spirit and connection to the region. Jonathan taught us to paddleboard and Buddha the bellman was available whenever we needed him. We had the best reflexology session with two trained therapists who came to our balcony! The cost was very reasonable - $300/night which included a full breakfast and all beach amenities. We all had dinner at Vendome, a restaurant just down the road – well worth it, French cuisine at very reasonable prices. Rick’s Café is a must, I guess though there was no cliff-diving that night. To get to the Tree House from Montego Bay airport, contact Dale Hudson at (876) 772-1207 hudson.dale@ymail.com – he was our driver for our entire weeklong trip (MBJ and Negril) including an excursion to the Rockland Bird Sanctuary polite, helpful and reliable.

We spent 4 nights during the Memorial Day weekend at the Negril Tree House and it was by far one of the greatest experiences. The trip from the airport to the resort was a bit long but the Kenny Tours drivers were WONDERFUL! Upon arrival at Tree House, we were greeted by the front desk manager, Ms. Janice. She was so friendly, accomodating and made you feel as if we were life long friends. Our room was almost right on the beach, We opened our door every morning to look out to beautiful white sand and blue water. The resort was clean, well kept and very comfortable. Breakfast was offered daily and consisted of a variety of fruit, omlettes, quiche, etc...delicious! The owner, Ms Gail, was an enthusiasticlally spirited woman and I want to be like her when I grow up!!! As a lover of Jamaican food, Alan, the chef/stand up comic, prepared some of the best jerk chicken and rice and peas on the island. No, it's not a 5 star hotel, but if your looking for lots of rest, relaxation and a chance to veg in the sun, gather your thoughts, read, sleep, meet great folks....on a beautiful white sand beach, Treehouse is the place for you!!!

Room Tip: Upgrade to an oceanview room. You won't be sorry!!!

we stayed for 4 nights at the tree house resort (garden room) at the end of april.
the beach is just beautiful - such clean, clear blue water. you could stay in there for hours!
our room was clean and comfortable and met our expectations. comfortable bed. the only downside was very thin walls - could hear the TV from our neighbours into the night. (although i think they did have their TV on very late and loud)
the gardens in the resort at extremely well maintained and is a credit to the staff. it is a very relaxed and natural setting.
found all staff to be very friendly (with the exception of one or two of the ladies at breakfast), who looked like they would rather be elsewhere, even when I put on a smile!
the jerk chicken and pork by the rockstar chef allen was probably the best we had in jamaica, very tasty!
i ran into gail once during our stay, and found her to be very friendly and organised a late checkout for us which was much appreciated.
the taxi driver richard, who worked from the tree house, was very friendly.
from the other resorts we could see and from my research (and without paying ridiculous amounts for an all inclusive) this looked to be the pick of the resorts on the beach :)
we only ate once on the beach, often went to the cliffs for dinner (where we found excellent food at tensing pen and catch a falling star).
would stay here again and would recommend to others

Our experience at the Treehouse was wonderful. Since we found the deal on Groupon, we didn't know what to expect. We arrived and found a well maintained, beautiful property with a wonderful staff. We loved the breakfast that was offered every morning. If you're not adventurous, you can have omlettes, waffles, fruit and sweet breads. If you are willing to step outside of your comfort zone, try the traditional Jamaican foods. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

If you have an opportunity, please speak with the owner, Gail. I took a paddle boarding lesson from her one day and enjoyed every second. She is a very interesting woman with a ton of wisdom.
