I visisted Khus Khus in March 2011, needless to say I am a little over a year late, had a baby and some other life changing experiences happen.
Khus Khus is a lovely boutique hotel! The accomadations are standard but it is clean and the staff are very friendly... They have live entertainment on some evenings which was a added bonus... I ate at several of the resturants that were recommended on tripadvisor and I was not impressed at all!!!!! I recall throwing food away......Khus Khus bar and resturant should be listed as the #1 in Negril....I am not sure if it is only for hotel guest but I would call ahead and see if eating there is possible. The food is fresh and filling... I also asked for stewed chicken that wasn't on the menu and my friend and I fought over the plate... The curry dishes are oustanding and the breakfast is awesome, fresh fruit, egggs, coffee, etc... I highly recommend staying at Khus Khus if you don't mind being off the beaten path...As for feeling secure I always did...I sat outside alone after midnight talking on the cellphone they provide each guest and on the complimentary internet on my laptop and felt safe! The security walks the propery all night...The pool is not that large but does the job and 7 mile beach is like a 10 minute walk and a 2 min cab ride which security will arrange for you....There is also a store at the end of the driveway and a beach area across the street but its not a swimming beach...Went to the Waterfall and jet ski...All in all a nice trip...Negril won my heart!!!!!!!!!!!
