“Love the dolphins!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2014

Loved swimming with the dolphins. bought the pictures of the belly ride and the kiss. The Shark Boys were so much fun. they have a very funny skit and were a pleasure to watch. The iguana caretaker took pictures of us, as did the love-bird and parrot caretakers as the animals were draped all over us. lots of fun!

“Don't miss a great dolphin experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2014

Swimming with the dolphins and sting rays was a great experience and the animal staff are knowledgeable. The shark show with "pirates" was a fun element. The photo shop is (typically) pricey, and you pay at the gift shop but have to go to the other end of the property to the video shop to pick up photos, so leave yourself time to do this if you are with a tour group. There are a lot of stairs to climb between the bus area and the water. The wooden ladders into the water are as slick as ice due to microscopic plant growth (One of us took a bad fall)

“Shark encounter not to be missed!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

We did the shark encounter and Dunn's River Falls as an excursion from Disney Cruise Line on July 23rd. Our guide, Kecion H., was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about Jamaica. She stayed with us the entire time. Our kids (ages 12 & 14) loved everything about Dolphin Cove including the lunch, land animals, dolphins, and the rays. Our encounter with the nurse sharks was incredible. We fed them, had one on our laps, then swam with them. AMAZING to say the least. Their body motion and sound that they make when they eat what you feed them is really thrilling! I don't want to spoil the surprise and go into more detail other than that!
On a more personal note, I wish I would have asked the name of the shark handler that worked with my girls and I. My youngest daughter is a special needs child. When the activity started, I told the group of shark handlers this, and without hesitation, one of the handlers said, "No problem, I will take her in my group!" He was kind, patient, and very accommodating to her needs, and she was able to enjoy every bit of this experience because of this great Dolphin Cove employee. We are very glad that we experienced Dolphin Cove and would definitely recommend it !

“Pricey but worth it, per my wife”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

The dolphin cove was something that my wife had really wanted to experience, we paid ~$300 for the “ultimate experience” for her to swim with 2 dolphins. She really enjoyed the time with them, but if you actually breakdown the amount of time you spend with the dolphins, it was probably less than 5 mins of actual interaction time with them. The rest of the time you watched other people in the water with them, you pet them and they take you on a ride, where you hold on to their fins and they push the bottom of your feet while you “glide” on the water. There are also other attractions at the dolphin cove such as a wild bird sanctuary and swimming with sharks and sting rays. The bird sanctuary was fun as they would fly on to your shoulders and you can feed them out of your palm, we didn’t do the swimming with sharks or sting rays. All were part of the admission to the dolphin cove.
