“Dolphin Touch Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012

Another great attraction in Jamaica. We loved being able to interact with the dolphins at Dolphin Cove. The Jungle walk was neat too as well as the Shark Show. The vendors are not pushy at all. If you want something, they will work with you with pleasure and make your shopping worthwhile.

“Once in a lifetime. Dolphins”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

We had a short trip in Jamaica and the chance to swim with Dolphins was something not to be missed. The staff are very entertaining and certainly kind with the dolphins, but one can't help thinking that a bit more time per person would be more worthwhile, even half a minute more.
However it was a unique and unforgettable experience in great weather and with a good "vibe"
Don't think about the cost, just the experience.

“Lovely But Expensive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

We loved our experience at Dolphin Cove but it is rather on the spendy side. Just for us to do the touch experience was $290 for my husband and I. It did include transfers.

The experience only lasts about 30 minutes. I was hoping for one on one time with the dolphins but they line you up and the dolphin swims down the line so you can feel them. You get to do hand signals so the dolphin dances and talks, but again you all do it together. The only one on one time is at the very end when you get your picture taken holding the dolphin's head in your hands and then kiss the dolphin. If you want a bit more time with the dolphins you'll have to folk over some big bucks to actually swim with them and even then you aren't in the water much longer with them. We watched a group do this.

There is a snorkeling area, a sting ray encounter (loved that), a shark encounter and a couple of shows. Be aware that there are small jelly fish in the snorkeling area. I got stung pretty good and didn't even see the jelly fish. They do try and catch them and keep as many out as possible. After I got stung two guys went out in a boat to round some up.

If you want to take your time and see everything don't do transfers. Take a taxi.

You can't video tape or take pictures during your dolphin experience. You have to pay for that which is expensive. Pictures are $12, but they do offer packages. The DVD is $79 and it only lasts about 3-4 minutes. Also the DVD has music playing instead of you hearing your trainer or the dolphin. My thought on this is all the background noise of other experiences going on during your experience so they just don't record the sound and then put in music.

Be prepared to spend some money if you want anything from the gift shops. I found a bookmark I really liked. It had a picture of the dolphins on it and it was holographic but they wanted $10 US for it.

“Loved it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

This place is small but great, we loved every minute of it. The only snoozer was the shark show, I have no idea what the hell those guys were saying.

Snorkeling with the stingrays was cool, my kids had a blast.

The dolphin experience was great, would definitely do this again on our next trip.

“Great day!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

It was a great time, staff was fun and interesting. The dolphins were by far the best part of the day. The rest of the park could use some more interesting thi ga to do, but worth the money.
