We believe, as some others do, that bad reviews are coming from uptight people. If you can remember that everything is done on Jamaica time and you can go with the flow you will have a blast. Our room was spacious enough and very clean. We did not encounter any little creepy crawley friends. There was something to do all day, every day. We were there from 5/30 - 6/03 and we had a blast. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We plan to go back and remedy that next year. The falls and the horseback riding were our favorite. We even ventured out to the nude island and had a wonderful time. The staff is friendly and the food is definitely better than other places we had been in Jamaica. It may not be gourmet quisine but it is good. One reviewer said there wasn't anything to do at night but we did not find that to be true. We were up playing around until 2AM every night. (The trip to Margaritaville was a blast) We met many wonderful people there, some we even plan to keep in touch with. We are in our mid thirties and there were plenty of people our age as well as some who were older and younger. This was one of the best trips we have had in our 15 years of marriage and we highly recommend this resort.

Me and my husband went Oct 13-19, 2002. We were at the time 26 and 31. It was our honeymoon. We had a blast. The food was awesome and the activities were so much fun. I am hoping that people don't read too much into everyone with the bad reviews. We went there not knowing what to expect and keeping an open mind. The staff was always so friendly and nice. We went to Dunns River and you have to do that on the day they have the beach party. It was so much fun. We can't wait to go back. Everyone is talking about the food being repetitive. It was great to us. The breakfast was the best. Try the crab omelet. They had lobster a couple of nights at every restaurant. That was good. To sum it all up. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Read these reviews and take from them what you want. In our opinion, the negative reviews are from folks who can’t take things as they come and are a bit uptight. We were at COR from May 15-20 and had a wonderful time. We had an ocean view for the entire stay and it was just beautiful. We were worried about rain but it hardly did so nothing really interfered with our fun. It was our first inclusive resort and we loved the “all you can eat-drink-sleep-sun-swim-party” mode we were in all week. We came here to relax and forget about our worries. The staff was friendly with us in every part of the hotel and we enjoyed talking with them. Walk down the hallway and most employees you encounter will greet you with a “hey mon” or something. We noticed that visitors would look at the ground and keep walking. So we just started greeting everyone – seeing the look on his or her faces was hilarious. Anyways, the beach was cozy and we enjoyed the sun and swimming. The drinks were tasty. Food was just fine – we ate in each of the restaurants at least once. Dunns River is a must! I golfed twice and had a great time (having your own caddy was very cool – it was like being on the PGA tour!). We enjoyed meeting people from Missouri, South Carolina, Cape Cod, London, New York, Illinois, etc … one night in particular was great as we all drank shot after shot! Bottom line is – if you are looking to complain about something I am sure you will find it. We loved our vacation there and recommend this place to anyone. We had a wonderful time, please do not pay attention the bad comments from the other reviewer. We were on our honeymoon from May 16-23 and despite bad weather it was a wonderful experience. I would like to first comment on the other reviewer that said, he/she was 'taken'. If you were wanted a coke so bad, why didn't you walk down to the grill and get your own, it would have only taken 1 minute. Also did you ever try to eat at the Bayside or other restaurants, because they were excellent. I must admit by day 5 or so I was a little sick of the food, but not because it was bad, just because it is kinda the same thing, with varations. So we made reservations to eat other places then the buffet. I loved breakfast- every morning, bacon, eggs(anyway you want them), all sorts of breads and fruits, it was a huge spread. If you can't find something you like, then you are a picky person. The resort is lovley and does look like the pictures, we walked around a couple of nights just because the landscape was so beautiful. My husband and I are 25 and 26 years old and we both had a wonderful week even though we only saw the sun on two days, that is not Couples fault, so we couldn't be mad about it. Also there is a computer in the lobby with a great connection, why would you take your personal computer on vacation? We snorkled, went to Dunn's River Falls, took a catamerian cruise and went to the spa. Everyone there is very nice, and helpful. On Monday night they set up dinner on the beach and we got to eat under a palm tree, they also have great hammics that we would relax on everyday. We didn't go shopping because outside the resort people are pushy, but there is plenty of gifts and whatnots in the gift shop. Our baloncy was the best part, it was huge and we could see the naked island and the ocean. Also our water pressure was just fine and the toilet, i had read that those were not to good. My only issue is that our time was hour behind and they do not serve lunch until 12:30 and dinner at 7, so to us it was 1:30 and 8, but we did not let that ruin our good time. If you like to eat snacks and junk food, remember to bring your own, the grill is open from 11am-5am, and has fries,nachos, burgers and jerk chicken and pork. We bought the video from Dunn's River and it was funny, it was also good because they add in pictures from the resort and you can show your friends and family where you stayed. Some of these reviews scared me about our decision to stay at COR, because it was our travel agent idea, but if you are an easy going, laid back person then you will have a great time. We met other couples from Ohio, Florida and South Carolina and I never heard a complant all week. The bus ride isn't that bad, you get to see the "real" side of Jamaica, I found it interesting. Oh, I almost forgot-don't go to Margaritaville, it is a rip-off, you get in free, but $11 drinks.
