“Way Too Crowded”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

The beauty of this attraction is somewhat marred by the sheer number of people who visit. There are literally dozens of people climbing the falls at the same time. Also, the "village" of tourist shops on the way out is filled with overly aggressive vendors. There should be a clearly marked exit where you can avoid the "assault" of people wanting to sell you souveniers.

“A Great Experience!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

We went to Dunn's River Falls on a Tuesday, and it was pretty crowded. Our airport transfer driver told us that it is extremely crowded on Wednesdays, because cruise ships stop in Jamaica, and many people want to go to Dunn's River Falls. Do not go here once crowded, it will be very hard to climb up the waterfall, because you will not have room to move, and that can be dangerous.

There were many little children, but I don't recommend taking little children here. It can be very slippery at points, and children and people can fall! It was a very fun experience and the water felt great and cold in the hot sun and humid weather. Our guide was a good guide, but got a little frustrated when this family kept staying behind because they had small children and elderly family members, and needed to be careful.

Overall, Dunn's River Falls was gorgeous and was a great experience. A must-do attraction in Jamaica!

“Waterfall!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Definitely a great way to see more of Ocho Rios. The falls were cold and not terribly dangerous since you're in a big group. Overall, a ton of fun!

“Great excursion!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Very friendly staff/tour guides, great weather, and not-so cold water. You should take your own water shoes to avoid renting some when you get there. Plus, they come in very handy for other excursions.

“Climbing the Famous Duns River Falls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

A fun experience with guide in tow leading a string of people to the top of the beautiful Duns River Fallls, a famous tourist landmark situated in Ocho Rios, If you don't want to climb the Falls, sit under one of the lower cascading falls for the best free massage ever and then pop into the ocean for a swim. Before you exit the Falls, there is a Crafts Market selling woodcarvings , straw goods and colorful clothing etc.....good for that last minute gift on your list . Don't forget to bargain.
