I had a lot of fun climbing the falls during our recent visit to Ocho Rios. There were a lot of people there the day we went as it was a ship day. Even with the large numbers, it was a fun experience and one that I was glad I did. Proper water shoes are a must as some places were a bit slippery. The guides were great though and worked really hard to make sure everyone made it up safely and enjoyed themselves doing it. After the climb we were asked to buy the video to which I say politely said no. As we passed through the vendors to get to the exit, we were approached to buy a few things but I never felt pressured to buy and just said no and kept walking. For me the vendors were not much of an issue as some others have indicated as I was determined not let them take away from the experience. The falls were spectacular and climbing them ended up being a good way to get a work out in during our stay.
