Visit Jamaica and not climb up Dunn's River Falls? Unthinkable! The bus drops you at the top of a hill. You enter and walk down a steep incline (but not difficult). At the bottom, there are lockers if you want to put anything safely away before entering the falls. As you enter the falls (take water shoes!!!) you climb up with your group. The guides are there to be helpful and I haven't seen one yet who wasn't good at their job. There is no real danger here and you don't need to be in great shape or even know how to swim. Take your time and enjoy the experience. When you are done, get your stuff out of the lockers and walk back up the hill. There are places to buy drinks or food and there are usually vendors selling souvenirs. Some can get pushy. If you don't want to buy, just smile and keep walking.
