This was one of my favorite days in Jamaica. It was so much fun and so relaxing. After we tubed for a while they let you hop off your tube and swim. I loved it!!
I was leary at first, but very fun and very worth going. Guides were very good at their jobs and made it fun.
This was a fun trip for all the kids (17 to 5) as well as the adults. Eighteen of our family floated around the bends and over the not very intimidating rapids. The guides did a good job of keeping us moving along. Prepare for the extras. They try selling you locker space for $5 (you can leave your things safely on your bus for no charge), $1 glasses straps for $5, and water shoes you didn't need. Have these things before you go up. CD disc was very expensive. We bought 18 pictures on a disc for $50.
My son and I enjoyed a wonderful 45 minute tubing run down the White River with Calypso tubing organized by Peat Taylor tours. This is a great excursion which we combined with ziplining at Hevans Scent and a swim at the awesome Irie blue hole. An easy day excursion from the RCI ship at Falmouth.
Rafting on the river with your "guide" singing Bob Marley tunes! Are you kidding me? Too much fun. Bell hops can arrange a taxi and your guide can drop you off at the AN beach area afterwards.
