From the moment we arrived, we realized it was not a good hotel. We requested to change rooms, since the floor tiles were all cracked, patio doors windows were dirty. After seing a few rooms, we chose the less dirty ones. We had two rooms. The terrace and its bar was close for repair , so we had to eat inside. They turned on the ceiling fans on my request, since the owner didn`t want the employees to have the air conditionning on. Just imagine Jamaica in the middle of July, without air conditionning, nor ceiling fans !! We were dying !! Half of light bulbs needed to be replaced, so it was dark and depressing.
The air conditionning in the rooms were the most noisy , and would go on & off constantly, waking us up.
That noise would be replaced early morning by the water pressure gun and it`s generator , used to wash out the terrace and all chairs and tables. It lasted 3 full days. Even while seating inside, we were asked to move from the windows, due to the employees painting outside. Not even an apology from management, nor the owner, who was on the premises every day.
On top of it, a signage was posted by the pool, stating that it was closed, due to no lifeguard on duty !!!! The gym equipment is all rusted and out of order, while the air conditionning is off . No one
can go since it`s suffocating.
The third day, i requested at least a compensation, if they could not transfer us to another hotel, and i was rudely told off by the owner himself. He said that we should be glad he was taking good care of his hotel !!! WHAT A STRANGE STATEMENT !!!
No other hotel was available, so we stayed the two days we had left .
