My husband and I just left Mystic Mountain and we had a wonderful time. We took the Sky lift up to the top of the mountain and the view is to die for. Once we were at the top, the staff that helped you off directed you to the area where you need to go to. We didn't get into the water or the bob slide. We did the Zip lining and I had a great time. It was something to experience. The staff is well trained and knowledgeable. They hope me through all 5 zip lines. I screamed and cried but I had a great time.
Food: We have a meal but we were able to share it. Don't but the jerk chicken from the person selling drinks. Make your way to the restaurant near the look out point. the food is better and really good. Plus there is a menu. We didn't know about the restaurant until the last minute and got suck with fries and jerk chicken for $14. Red strap was $5 and was $2. I told the drink sell person that I want rice and peas and plantain and he got it for me and I gave him a tip for not charging me for it.
Con: So when we got there we were told that we can tour the Buttery farm Botanical gardens. Cool right??? We really wanted to do the zip lining so we got on the sky lift thinking we can do the butterfly and the gardens afterwards, Not. Once you get on the sky lift to the top and return back down you have on where else to go but thru the exit out and can't return back in to do the gardens or the farm.
#2 Con: Unlike most rainforest I been to in and out of the country The entry fee are reasonable and you can reentered the park several times in the day or week with no to little charge. Not Mystic mountain, I can understand paying the zip lining and the other attractions.... But you should be able to reenter the butterfly and botanical gardens with out a reentry fee.
