“Wonderful Family Fun but Pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

Our family of four had a great time enjoying the lift to the top of the mountain and the spectacular views, the wonderful Jamaican Bobsled coaster and the zip-lines. I would have rated the attraction a “5” except that it is quite pricey and we did have a lengthy wait for the zip-lines. While the Jamaican Bobsled is the unique ride here and a must do, one may be tempted to skip the zip-lines to save money – don’t. While we all enjoyed the bobsled ride a lot, we all enjoyed the zip-lines even more. Also, the bobsled ride is over quickly leaving you thrilled and wanting more so bring some extra money to the top as you can purchase additional runs for a small fraction of what the package to the top of the mountain cost. There is also a small museum, restaurant, shopping and a pool at the top. We found the pool small with cold water and although the kids played in it for a short time, the beach at the hotel was far better so I would not bother with the pool.

“Our family had a GREAT time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

Our family of 3 (including an 8 year old) went to Mystic Mountain today, November 22, 2012 (Thanksgiving for the Americans). Yes, it was pricey, but we found it to be worth it. There were NO CROWDS AT ALL! The longest line had maybe three people in it. We went on our own, without a tour group, but with our tour guide who we had used on a previous visit to Jamaica. The ski lift up and down the mountain offered a beautiful view, the bob sled ride was so fun and the employees let us ride one more time than we paid for, maybe because it was a quiet day. There were few people in the water park which was really just an infinity pool with one (really fun) water slide. My daughter must have done it nearly 30 times! I think part of the reason we had such a great experience was that we managed to hit it on a quiet day, but for our experience, I give it 5 stars.

“Family day out”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

Worth a trip if you are ok with a ski type chair lift. Bobsled experience good but doesnt last long and there are restrictions on the number of times that you could partake of this experience (I think it should be unrestricted). Items in shop very expensive. Great infinity pool so take your swimming kit with you.

“Unexpected fun from a lazy island”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

This attraction offers a peaceful 20-min. ride up the mountain in a chairlift, with a disappearing edge pool set in lush gardens. A restaurant and bar at the top, as well as a little shopping. There is also a bare-knuckles roller coaster ride on the Jamaican Bobsled ride. Loads of fun not to be missed. There's a great little hummingbird garden that is perfect for getting photos of those beautiful Jamaican hummingbirds. There are lots of pretty butterflies fluttering around, too. There is also a 5-line zip line excursion, but one line is a vertical drop! It was scary and exhilarating at the same time. You can do the zip line, then you take the chairlift down from about halfway. This is a fun, new attraction that is not usually too crowded.

“Great fun with extra surprises”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

The Bobsleigh is an additional extra, 22 dollars for 2 rides
This was not included in our ticket but no problem as the Zip wire was exhilarating enough.
The day starts with a 15 minute cable car ride to the top of the mountain where you can get food, drink, souvenirs etc.
There is also a great little garden with humming birds.
Anyway onto the Zip wire. It consists of 7 runs, the longest being 170 meters.
As always the guides are good fun.
The zip wire is not for the faint hearted but needs no specials skills so anyone can do it
