We stayed here thanks to the recommendation of Rimma of Sunny Villa Holidays (info@lovethesun.com). We were three families in all: me and my wife with 7yo twins; my parents in their 60s and my brother and wife (been married just a year). We had never been to Montego Bay and never rented a villa. We loved everything about this particular villa - the location, the service, the staff (including the cook, manager and driver w/minivan we hired, Marvin, also via Rimma), the food. The swimming pool was too cold for me, but that's Mother Nature's fault - my kids didn't care and were in it all the time. There was a fourth bedroom in the basement we didn't need or use (when we went, it wasn't of the quality of the rest of the main-floor apartments, so they need to redo it).

There's so much to do and see in Montego Bay and this is an ideal location for it all. We recommend Villa Bahia to everyone - and we will definitely go back one day.

We (group of four) spent four nights at this Villa and had a great time. Rimma dealt with the booking with great efficiency and answered all emails promptly and helpfully. She arranged a driver to collect us from Negril and take us to the Villa.

Even though we had seen the photographs we were overwhelmed with how pretty and clean the place was. There are three very large and modern rooms, with two double beds in each, en suite bathrooms, big TVs. There are then a couple of two lower ground bedrooms which are a little more basic but nevertheless perfectly adequate. All the rooms have fans/air con units. There is a large living room with a plasma TV (which we didn't use) and a fairly loud hi fi system with wires to connect an ipod/ipad. There is wireless in the living area and around th epool. The outside space is very big with a wonderful pool and great view of the sea and sunset.

We had a very friendly maid who dealt with the laundry, ironing and cooking breakfast (we provided the ingredients) as well as keeping the place clean. Though the manager of the property sleeps in the villa he is very discrete and is based in a separate wing to where the guest bedrooms are. He was not at all imposing yet was always at hand to deal with our queries.

It is a 5-10 minute downhill walk from a shopping complex but for trips to the hip strip/mo bay, scotchies jerk restataunt (the best jerk we had) and the beach it's best to get a taxi; it's about a ten minute drive to most places worth visiting.

I would certainly reccommend (and hopefully return to) Bahia, great value!

Just spent a week at the Villa Bahia and it is absolutely awesome. The view, the villa, the staff.....magnificent.
Will not hesitate to make a return visit and recommend to friends and family.

This is not a hotel but a private Villa. I have been to Jamaica many times and if you are looking to travel, this is the way. You have your own Chef and housekeeper!
