The service was fantastic. Jennifer and Fitzroy make sure you get to where you want to go. They'll tell you about places you might not see otherwise. The trip there is a bit bumpy and about a half hour from the airport, but once you're away from all the touristy things, you really start appreciating the Emerald View.

We just returned from 8 days at the Emerald View Resort Villa in Montego Bay, Jamaica and can't wait til we can return! We went to Jamaica hoping to really get to know the culture and the people of Jamaica as well as see as many sights as possible. It is a small and very personal place and the people are very friendly and helpful in making our stay very plesant. They have a dining room with a balcony and we loved eating breakfast on the balcony every morning because the view of the ocean and the hillside was beautiful. For me the best part of breakfast was the fresh pineapple and watermelon. Our first morning there Jennifer (the owner) sat down with us helped us plan the week so that we could experience Jamaica to it's fullest. We told her what we liked to do and she made suggetions for us to choose from. She answered any and all of our questions about the local plants and flowers, good places to eat and the Jamaican lifestyle. It was a very quiet and peaceful place to be and I felt very safe taking walks around the neighborhood. If we ever return to Jamaic there will only be one place for us to stay and that is at the Emerald View Resort Villa.

I only have good things to say about Emerald View.
It was the first place I stayed on my first trip to Jamaica and it has left a lasting impression and a lovely feeling.
It has all the things that I value.
The owner Miss Jennifer is a really sincere person and looks after your every need.
All the staff are wonderful. You really do feel as if you are in your own home.
The view is lovely and the neighbourhood is safe and lots of friendly people around delighted to talk with you.

Fantastic view to wake up to. Relaxed setting, very personal service. It is remote and the last kilometer of the road leading there is awful, but it was well worth it. A good place to relax, located in a middle class type of neighborhood. We went for walks daily and we were able to take in lots of local flavor. Very safe and friendly neighborhood, the only danger is perhaps twisting an ankle on the road. Miss Jennifer,the owner, looked after our every need. Miss Peggy, the cook was also wonderful. We truly felt like we were house guests. Not for someone who wants to be in the middle of the action, but if you get the bug to go clubbing or get out, the staff will drive you there. The only minor drawback is that there are alot of dogs in the neighborhood and they do tend to do their share of barking, but is sure beats traffic noise. A very good value.
