Just got back from a quick 3 day weekend at the Sandals Mo'bay. IT was an enjoyable stay I especialy liked the fact it is about 5 minutes from the airport. Yes the planes do go over all day long however after a few hours it didnt bother us anymore.
This is our second trip to Jamaica the last time we were at the Ritz Carlton and you cannot compare the two.
When we arived I asked if there were any upgrades available and we got the honeymoon room overlooking the ocean. This includes a full bar along with a Jucuzzi bath tub.
The great thing about Sandals is that if you want to be active they have things to do if you just want to chill with a rum punch its all good. The food quality was as I expected, o.k. not great. The service I found to be good especially after I broke the rules and slipped some 5's to the bartenders and waiters. They say "no tipping" but the smart people do tip, the staff people do not make that much and you will get an appreciative "respect mon" and notice a nice change in the quality of service you are offered.

We have been to quite a few Sandals Resports for a change of scenery from our most favorite Sandals which is Sandals Mo Bay. All Sandals are very good, but Mo Bay has us in it's grip for giving us that true home-away-from-home feeling one can only get from truly caring staff and a just the right size property. We are in our early to late fifties and own a timeshare in Aruba, having been there 14 times. Sandals Mo Bay has Aruba beat (sorry) hand's down for friendly happy workers from Manager to the wonderful gardeners. The people of Jamaica, on and off property, are among the most helpful people we have ever come across. Sandals workers have a great resort in Mo Bay--- Respect breeds Respect. Go with an open mind, wave to the planes, and realize what a jewel this Sandals is at the end of the runway. Walk Good!!

Sandals Montego Bay is hopping.... words can not say enough about this place..... we are planning a return trip next year.... My hat goes off to all the staff there .... job well done....thank you ...

We read lots of reviews on Sandals Montego Bay and to tell the truth we were more than a little worried but I am pleased to say none of what we read was mildly close to true and we had an excellent time!

We stayed for 2 weeks and stayed in a grande lux beachfront category, I will get the only negative thing about our trip out of the way....
The room was not as new as we would have expected especially for the price we paid, the furniture and decor left a lot to be desired and the room had a mouldy damp smell.

Now to the good part!! We were right on the beach and the beach is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are well maintained and where ever you walk there are always staff cleaning up, and everyone is so polite and friendly!

Food- I can't believe people on previous reviews moaned about the food!!
The breakfast has a huge selection fresh fruit, waffles, pancakes, cereal, porridge, omlette, bacon, scrambled egg, veg, akee, sausage, ham the list goes on so I wont bore everyone, and with all the restaurants there is definitely something to cater to everyone’s tastes, we had everything from fresh lobster, to steak and chicken.

The staff will go out of there way to accommodate any request, and really made our stay extra special,.

The pools are small so don't go expecting a massive one, but they make up for it will 4 Jacuzzis all of which are lovely and warm, and very relaxing...also a great place to meet other guests.

The play makers were really fun, the night time entertainment wasn't really our kinda thing, but you can't please everyone!


All in all I would definitely stay again, and all in all the resort is perfect to relax and party!
