This was my fifth time to jamacia, A friend went with me it was her first time. We loved it THE SUMFEST WAS FUN all night go late and stay till dawn. The Richmond Hill Inn was beautiful. very relaxing. everyone was great. I FELT LIKE I WAS AT HOME. The night time veiw of the bay was very nice ., you could hear the muscial sounds of the city, which added to the peaceful louds of the night. I had 9 days of fun. I will be returning in Jan. 2008. MUCH LOVE TO THE STAFF OF RICHMOND HILL INN.

We were at the end of our stay at an all inclusive resort in another part of Jamaica when Hurricane Ernesto was due to land. We arrived at the airport only to be told we would not be able to leave the island. Since we had already checked out we were somewhat strapped for cash since because we were on our way home. Luckily we had a really nice taxi driver that we had built up a rapport with. We were able to contact him after trying to call all types of alternatives for a stay somewhere reasonable. We told him of a place we had called for reservations so he said he wanted to show us another place to see if we would like it. Well as it turned out we fell in LOVE with it. It was owned originally by the Dewar's Family. It is absolutely gorgeous. The Inn is run by a mother and her twin daughters. They treat everyone like family. The view is breath-taking. You can see the ships when they come in. It is something to behold.
The stay there was better than our original hotel. LOVE,LOVE LOVE IT. Want to do it again.... and again....

I got married here in September, and couldn't have asked for a more lovely place to be. The Richmond Inn is beautiful, romantic, and well kept. Gracie, her sister and their mother are charming women, laid back, helpful, and friendly. They accommodated our needs very well, and took care of our wedding arrangements, which were very last minute, with ease. They even baked me an extra wedding cake as a gift, to bring back home! Our room was lovely, with a breathtaking view of MoBay, refrigerator, microwave, cable t.v., sofa and chair. The bed was very comfortable (smile). I'll never forget waking up early, looking out of the window and seeing the mist hanging in between the mountains, or the sun gloriously setting over the caribbean sea, as it did on our wedding day.

The place is quiet, serene, and out of the way of the "Strip" where I stayed on my previous trip. Hence, no harrassment, no hustle and bustle, just quiet, relaxing times. I cannot thank the proprietors and staff enough for their kindness. Daphne and Joan decorated our room with flowers for our wedding, did all my washing, and were such sweet ladies, I cried when I left! I found the Richmond extremely well priced, I"ll definately stay there again when I go back.

I stayed at Richmond Hill Hotel at the end of April, as part of a wedding party from Barbados, Canada and The United States. Simply put, I fell in love with the place over the weekend I was there. The view from the patio of the penthouse where I stayed was spectacular, especially at night when the lights of the town below glittered like lazy fireflies. The service, led by Miss Gracie, was friendly, efficient and at all times I felt compleetely at home, an experience not always encountered in hotels in other regional countries.
As a journalist aand entertainer I have experienced service in hotels in many places and Richmond Hill stands out because it does the basics well - good food, good service, good infrastructure. Then there's that view. I have already decided that I will return to Richmond Hill. It's good for the soul.
