This was my first time traveling with my son,it was me and the rest of my family and i can honestly say i had an amazing time. The water park was perfect for my son, he spent most days there either going down the slides or on the lazy river. My family and i enjoyed the food very much, espically the french toast in the morning. All three of the restaurants were surprisingly good, as we thought we were not going to like them. The buffet was good with lots of selections however not really much for children, my son eat mostly at the snack bar by the pool because they had grilled cheese and cheese burgers for him. My absolute favorite food was by a vendor that roamed around the resort who sold authentic Jamaican beef patties. They were $2 each but well worth it. The entertainment staff was awesome. Very friendly and into their jobs. You can tell they enjoy what they're doing. I only put my son in the kids club for one day but he enjoyed his time there, absolutely loved his teacher there and even came home with crafts. The games by the pool were geared more towards adults and older children (maybe ages 10+) my 5 yr old son could not understand most of the games but still tried to participate. My husband, brother, uncle, parents and I enoyed the games by the pool that were for the adults. The nightly shows were not what i expected as i have been to lots of other resorts with amazing shows performed only by the staff. These shows were based off of the guests, which when there was a lot it was fine but we had some dead nights in the middle of the week which made for a quiet show. The "disco" at night was fun as well (18+ yrs old). Good Music. Drinks. Dancing. And pool tables. I had an amazing time a this resort with my whole family, i defiantly would recommend this family resort and even some couples that i met were enjoying themselves. And i plan to return next November!!
