Very large property. Accomodations are spread out throughout the resort. The property is like a gated resort community. To get around you are able to rent golf carts or bikes. I would highly recommend. Bikes re not the most comfortable but helped us get around and they were much less expensive than the golf carts.
Many differnet type of accomodateions. Single rooms, suites, multi room suites, multibedroom villas. thwe Villas are quite removed fo the rest of the property as most people staying there will not leave their villa. They have their own pool, kitchen cook etc all covered within the cost of their stay so no real need to use hotel ammenities. However if you were to leave, you do have your own golf crts to get to the beach or hotel.
The sunset beach which sits between the villas and the rest of the hotel is beutriful and not used by anyone. My wife and I spend an entire moring sitting on thie huge beach just by our selves except for a few horse back riders that were taking their horses for a swim. Looked like a really neat experience that anyone can sign up for at the equestrian center.
There are three pools that are at the "hotel". One is a 50 meter lap pool, the pool nest to the lap pool has swim up bar and tends to be more active and then there is the 3rd pool at Oleander area that tends to be more quiet. Nexyt to the beach is the dolphin lagoon which was neat to spend a little time watching the them. If you so desire you can sign up to swim with them for a cost.
4 resturaunts. Food at all places was quite impressive for a Caribbean resort. Highly recommend any. My favorite was the Sugar mill near the golf course. Great Atmosphere and great food. Overall the resort did nothave a great drink or wine menu. Best wine was at Italian place but quite expensive 3x-4x what you pay for in states
Golf was fair
Service in general was great, every staff member reached out and was plesent.
Overall we thought this property and location would be great for a large family or group of friends trying to get away ans spend some time in warm tropical place.
We plan on returning with family and friends
