This was my second visit to Half Moon. Whilst it is no doubt a luxurious resort and beautiful in many ways, it is in need of further investment. I stayed in a Junior Suite and the bathroom was very dated and not what you would expect of a 5 star resort. The food was ok but not amazing and the staff either tried too hard or not at all. It was not unusual at a meal to have at least 3 people turn up at the table introducing themselves as the server for the evening - it all got very confusing. The best part of the hotel was the golf club and its staff and caddies. It is a beautiful resort with a lovely beach but it did not feel 5 star any more.
