Our RC cruise ship stopped here and since there really isn't much to do in Falmouth this was a good option for our large family group of 12, ages 10 to 70. It was a 30 minute ride by van/bus which we found right as you walk off the boat and go thru the "fake" town area. Our driver was professional and friendly and made sure to make arrangements with us as to exactly where and what time he would meet us to take all 3 groups back. We actually got there before the other cruise ships that docked in Montego Bay which was nice because we were able to rent chairs and umbrellas and have a place close to the water versus further back. The price to get in was something like $5.00 pp and then you pay additional for the chairs etc. They had servers on the beach where you could order food and drinks. Our service here was good but later four of us went to the on site bar/grill where food was just ok and our service was terrible. It took forever to get our food and one of the meals came long after the others. I didn't see that everyone else was having this issue so may have just been our server. Some of our group took a snorkel trip, some went shopping, others just relaxed so there are plenty of options for the day that you are here. All in all, a beautiful beach and always felt safe.
