The river tubing is about 1 hour's driving west of Montego Bay. 5 tubes were tightly tied together. A pilot had his own tube tied at the front of the tube group, essentially making a huge rubber raft. One can imagine that such a raft moves awkwardly stable. The pilot actually had to paddle very hard in order to make this raft move. The river was shallow, and the water flowed slowly. All made the tubing a boating without much excitement. The boat was safe; but so safe that there was nothing about adventure.
Because of the slow pace, tourists have the chance of appreciate the tropical scenery - that was the only upside of this excursion.
