This place is a wonderful place. I have been there about four times. It is on Hope road in the capital of Jamaica, Kingston. It lies on a slight incline leading from Half way Tree to Papine and August town. If you like reggae or are just a fan of Bob Marley and his music, this is a wonderful place to visit. A local tour guide, Karim, can give you a wonderful tour of this facility, Tuff Gong studios and other places in and aroung Kingston. On the tour of the museum, you get to see that Bob Marley actually lived there as it is one of his past homes. You see his different works on display, his rooms both downstairs and upstairs and then you see the kitchen where he was shot and almost killed. This shooting incident, they say, led to him leaving Jamaica to live in England for two years in self imposed exile. A few of his most memorable hits, they say, were written and recorded during this time. Close to the end of the tour of the museum, you are treeted to ashort movie presentation on the works and life of Bob Marley. This taks place in a dark theatre like room with big screen. Go there. You will love it. If you have any problems send an e-mail to email@example.com.
