The Sunset Resort has been our stop in Treasure Beach for a few years now. We typically arrive in February and August. Cory's place is great, although we usually spend only one night or two (So much to do in JA, even semi-annual trips aren't enough).
The Real pleasure is the community itself. All of Treasure Beach is sweet! Most recently, hurricanes of 2005 have kick the you-know-what out of the sand on most of the beaches, but there is still a small strip of sand and the usual good surf and powerful riptides.
Besides Sunset Resort, try a drink at the Yabba restuarant (Sorry Cory) at Treasure Beach hotel, if only for the bouganvillas and the lovely view. Keep going around the turn and look for a small shop with outdoor "terrace" at the next intersection. Again great people and wonderful breakfast.
Finally, a trip to Treasure Beach isn't complete until you stop a the Ital Restuarant, and the little carvings, shirts, and jewlery sold by "Cut -rate Charlie", a big man with Dreadlocks, a pleasant smile and his "bless" for you.
Don't miss Treasure Beach.
P.S. Another great place is Jakes! Dougie and Jason are two of the big shots of Treaure Beach. Dougie 'cause he's the bartender (and has been photograghed for multiple Lonely Planet Guides) and Jason, becuase his truly is "da Big Mon of de place.' Big Ups too all T.B. folks!
