Walter Bussenius, the owner of the Mont Joli Hotel in Cap Haitien, is a really nice guy. I have stayed many times in his hotel and I must say that I never had any problem. Excellent food, friendly people, nice rooms with seaview and not too far from the places where you can meet the locals. Lovely woman and friendly men at the disco and nearby bars.
Cap Haitien, with an interesting history and MONT JOLI hotel, is a MUST for the Haiti visitor.

I have been to Cap Haitian several times doing mission work. The Mont Joli is a wonderful haven to return to each day after a gruelling day of work in the tropical heat. The staff is great and the food is excellent. The view of the bay is beautiful.

Hotel Mont Joli is a quite respite among the chaos in Haiti. The staff is wonderful and the scenery is beautiful.

We travel to Haiti on a regular basis to provide medical care. We always stay our last days in country in the hotel. The service is wonderful. We have always been treated as family.

I visited Cap Haitien and Mont Joli Hotel many times as a tourguide coming from the Dominican Republic. Nice food, friendly atmosphere and personal and meeting Walter Bussenius, the owner gave me the feeling coming home. Ren? Bartenstein from Holland. Please write me!
