Excellent hotel. Stayed there for a month. Food was great, service was superb, hotel personnel were very courteous, a/c worked great (although a little loud), pool was very nice, small work out room, massages available at a reasonable price, great hamburgers.
Overall, would stay there again before the El Rancho.

The Villa Creole is a wonderful place to stay while in Haiti. I have been here for almost a week and am not looking forward to my departure in two days. I am working for a non-profit and find life for the average Haitian quite difficult given the political and economic situation.

Regardless, the Villa Creole is an oasis within chaos. While I have felt safe in Port-au-Prince, the hotel has been my sanctuary after a hard days work. The staff are willing to please in any way possible. The rooms are very clean, cable TV (alot of American channels), reliable internet access in all guest rooms and the housekeeping are shy by well in-tune with the needs of the guests.

I am well-traveled and while in other places I have found things "missing" from my belongings, I definitely do not feel that here. It is almost my home away from home. The owner and frontdesk staff have ALWAYS assisted me when needed.

While my trip was business oriented, I definitely have had a pleasurable time here and would return given the chance to the Villa Creole.

Hi my name is Daniella and I lived behind the hotel villa creol and all I can say is that it was the best hotel, the service is excellent and the personals are very friendly and kind, they will do anything to make you feel at home.... I would recomend travelers to go at VILLA CREOL because you will have a blast and it will be an unforgatable experience!!!!!!!! especially the pool it's a 100% EXCELLENT!!!!!!!! ;)

We stayed the hotel in December2003/January 2004. Stayed in 2 rooms both were wonderful. The one with the balcony looking over the garden.
Loved the breakfast under the almond tree - fruit and bread for me - American style eggs. Good food at dinner. My husband could catch CNN on television. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel even had a nurse on call who assisted me obtaining relief for my cough. I'm looking forward to returning to the hotel. We walked to dinner in a Haitian restaurant in Petionville one night and took a taxi to a French restaurant in Petionville another night.
