I dont think I will ever go back to this hotel again

Both my Husband and I agree that we were extremely satisfied with the service we received from El Ranch hotel. The staff were wonderful. The food was breath taking. The wedding occur on December, I will recommand El Ranch to any one who wanted to get marry in Haiti.

There were few guests at the hotel. The person who picked me up at the airport was the desk clerk, who was also responsible for assigning the rooms. The room he gave me was terrible. The matress was thin and I ended up being eaten by bed bugs.He also charged me $40 for the cab fare from the airport to the hotel, which is more than he should have, according to people I met during my stay.The food was bland and the menu was the same every night.The interesting feature of the hotel is the casino where you can observe one of the reasons why the future of Haiti is doubtful.There was an American philanthropist who was also staying at the hotel. He had stayed at El Rancho for the past 40 years when he visited Haiti. He also had a poorly maintained room.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.I wanted to add that we only had water and electricity half the time I spent at the hotel. Apparently, the hotel generator was not working. Since there were only a few people visiting the hotel, one would think they would have given us the best room they had. They did not. If any one reads this review, and you decide to stay at the hotel, do not stay in room 118.
