Yes, It is a very beautiful place where the natural green mountains make you believe there is a paradise on earth. Royal Carribean refuses to advertise Labadee as being part of Haiti. Is that because of the political turmoil? Anyway, try to visit this place one day, you won't regret it. I have also read that people are being intimidated because the Haitian natives try to pamper them way toooo much by handing paper towel to them in the bathroom or clean up sand off their chair at the beach. Why not tipping them if you feel like you are being treated like kings or Queens. Don't you always tips people who serve you ? Give me a break. These people are trying their best to attract tourist in their land that is already destroyed by the American biased media. Please visit Labadee and rate it after. GJ

Labadie is a beautiful place, but only a fraction of the beauty of Haiti. My husband and I were in Haiti for 10 glorious days (May '03) and spent a day at Lambadie. The beach is truly paradise. There is security at the beach with guns, but it is not threatning or uncomfortable. The people are very nice and helpful and more peaceful than a lot of people I've encountered in the States. We took a boat over to the Villages of Labadie to find Norm's Place. We plan to stay at Norm's Place the next time we go to Haiti. By the way we are scheduling a trip for 20 people the same time next year.My husband and I have over 400 pictures of our trip to Haiti. I will share them with anyone who really wants to see the beauty Haiti has to offer.

breath taking of unspoiled sandy beaches where the caribbean meets the atlantic ocean. It offers tranquility, an array of water sports to choose for fun in the sun as well as total relaxation under a palm tree. A place to shop at the Haitian market for decorative artifacts and haitian art work which is becoming popular today.

for anyone who says Labadie is the best part of their cruise, i urge you to see the rest of what Haiti has to offer. the people are friendly and the experience is worth stepping out of your comfort zone. i didn't fall in love with the Haiti for the beach, i fell in love because of the easy-going atmosphere and the kind, gentle people.
