This is a lovely long beach with most of the hotels, restaurants, etc but with that comes lots of people and I prefer more privacy. The beach is beautiful as are the waters --very calm and lovely for swimming. If you want to be in the heart of the action, this is the place to go.
Grand Anese Beach feels very touristy - a lot of people - not relaxing. It is a beautiful area, but lined with hotels and vendors.
Stayed at the Coyaba Beach Resort for my stay in Grenada. Still in search for that perfect sugar white beach.
Sand is nice (gold in color) and the water was as blue as could be expected, but overall the beach was not that impressive.
Note: I am more of a pool person but can enjoy a nice beach.
This beach is very large, whited sand and is very close to Spiceland Mall and St.Georges downtown, there are plenty trees where you can hide from sun wich is very hard there.
