Umbrellas is nestled just off Grand Anise beach, it is a 2 storey wooden building just perfect for snacks, meals and drinks. There is satellite TV showing UK football and other relevant sporting spectacles. We found the staff efficient and friendly and never waited long to be served at the bar or when seated. The food is just right for what it is, nothing fancy but honest well cooked beach bar food. We had the burger and chips which was lovely and I can recommend the pulled pork on foccacia which was delicious. The deserts are a dieters nightmare, proper naughty things like ice cream sundaes and mango and passion fruit cheesecake.
The other half kept returning for the rum punch I however had to have my daily fix of chocolate milkshake the best I had on the island made with chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce, swirly cream on top and sprinkles, really naughty!
Just to mention there was a food van in the car park where the locals go for home made soup and saltfish dumplings etc and it was fantastic and really cheap, give that a try one day if you fancy a change.
