What a magnificent view across the sea to St.Georges! The Flamboyant was situated right next to two beautiful beaches and up the road from a wonderful mall and several eating places. Although there were many stairs to climb, this helped our family to remain fit for the duration of our stay. We needed this as the breakfast they provided (fresh fruit, local foods, traditioanl bacon and eggs) was hard to ignore and was the reason our son was up early for the first time in his life. Credit must be given to Mr.Lambert for maintaining a first-class resort like the Flamboyant. The facilties were amazing - hotel, bar, restaurant, games room, fitness room - and much more than we expected. The staff were friendly, particularly those in the restaurant. But the best part for me was that local Grenadians had access to the bar facilities on the beach and the hotel made no attempt (as some other hotels do) to block locals using the beach infront of their facilities. Well done Flamboyant Hotel!

i travelled all over the world on business,from africa to australia...i went to grenada alone at first,the hotel's view was excellent! the beachfront long with beautiful sand and bars...the food was good,service great,no hassle from anyone...and get this,a very private beach to the back of the hotel...i sent a ticket for my wife,we spent the balance of the trip together.....i am from the caribbean and i rate this hotel 4stars....only because itz on a hill ,but no elevators...if you are lazy,choose something else...if u are looking for a caribbean first class view,treatment and service...the flamboyant is what u want! music producer/concert promoter. First experience of the Caribbean & what a starter! Very clean, very friendly & efficient, superb facilities. Fantastic views & after hiring a car for 2 days can say the hotel has one of the best positions on the whole island.
We ate in the restaurant or beach side terrace for ALL meals & ALL the food was absolutely excellent.
The steps are a definite 'keep fit' routine so anyone interested should take heed of what the hotel says about the steps!!
Not a problem for us having to walk to the restaurants etc but hope the 'service road' doesn't get too busy.
Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this place, it's a credit to the management team in what they have achieved here since the hurricane.

We had a bad experience with another hotel on the island.

Needed a place to stay and did not have reservations. Contacted The Flamboyant. They were fantastic. We booked 4 rooms . Great hotel, beautiful rooms, wonderful views, good restaurant, great beach and beach bar.
